ACDC could come out and okay that sing they've been writing since they started playing it back in 1976 but then when Bon Scott died they didn't know how to finish it so they just kept adding albums to it. You could follow that up with any band that has a distortion pedal and people will lose their damn minds. How could you bit steak the show playing after them? The crowd is at a concert and has to sit for through a Grateful Dead set with people constantly tapping them on the shoulder to talk about the 23 minute transition and how it varied slightly from the night before. They have Drugs and their fans have drugs 2. At first they were a band you would want to take in your for 2 reasons 1. A chance to be in my own head space and get myself together without outside distractions with that droning lackluster music just kind of existing in the back ground. Then people kinda thought like oh man I really needed that break from life and things to prepare me for what's about to come. They play borderline elevator music I think they only reason they even okayed festivals was to give the crowd a break from the actual music a chance to stand there and zone out get their drug trip settled down by music that is just kind of background nothing to distract or grab anybodies attention away from them taking a break and getting ready for the good band to start. I mean they have one good song and I can't even tell you what song it is because every time I've heard it I'm like "Oh I like this song," and it's that one decent Grateful Dead song and the reason it's good is because it doesn't sound anything like the Grateful Dead. You can try and defend them however you would like but the fact if the matter is they were uninspiring, the music isn't good, and there is a reason they aren't on anyone's list of greatest band ever except deadheads.
